A very rare and lustrous Solidus of Valentinian I

Valentinian I, 364-375. Solidus (Gold, 21 mm, 4.47 g, 12 h), Antiochia, 367. D N VALENTINI-ANVS P F AVG Pearl-diademed, draped and cuirassed bust of Valentinian I to right. Rev. RESTITVTOR REI PVBLICAE / ANTΓ Valentinian I standing front in military attire, head to right, holding labarum with Staurogram in his right hand and Victory on globe in his left. Depeyrot 30/1. RIC 2a.iv var. (unlisted officina). Very rare. Sharply struck and lustrous, with an excellent portrait and a fresh reverse. A few tiny marks and with a small die break on the reverse, otherwise, virtually as struck.
